Q. How quickly can I learn to play The Fantasy Quest?
A. FIVE MINUTES to learn the most basic game. Each TFQ book features three “difficulty settings”. TFQ Melee NOW, the main TFQ Melee rules, then a section of “advanced rules”. You can begin with TFQ Melee NOW and add elements as you are ready for them. We think you will catch on very quickly, and be playing the full game within an hour.
Q. What is TFQ Melee NOW?
A. TFQ Melee NOW is our “quick-start” rules which fit on one-page! To check it out now, Click on this TFQ Melee NOW. You will see two ready-made warriors (Flavius & Maximo), one column of rules, one column which describes two full turns of combat between Flavius and Maximo. After reading the rules and example-of-play, you can take over the two warriors and finish the battle easily within 10 minutes. Then, you are off and running.
