When the TFQ Crew sits down to play TFQ (or ANY role-playing game) we like to set a mood for our games by playing appropriate music. Over the years, we have collected quite a bit of “RPG Music”. Before we gather to play, I try to put together a "soundtrack" for each adventure. I choose one song to be the Theme-Song for the Campaign. I select a specific song for each “scene” or "act" I have planned-out, and I burn a CD. I use a remote to change tracks during the game. I give most big cities their own song, and I have songs identified for adventuring in forests, deserts, oceans, jungles, swamps, mountains, towns and villages. I have music for battles, music for riding, Bad-Guy Theme music—music for just about every part of our adventures. |
